All of our services include nail trims, ear maintenance (plucking & cleaning), bathing, conditioning, hand drying, and scissoring! No hidden costs. Our groomers offer hand-stripping for Terriers, carding for Sporting breeds and scissoring for all! We happily do breed standard trims, hand stripping, creative flares, anime trims and deshedding grooms.
All of our Professional Groomers are certified through Canada's only recognized certifying body the Canadian Professional Pet Stylists. Don't be fooled by big-box companies who claim to have certified groomers as they are only "certified" through their in-house management.

My Mom's dog was labeled as difficult and hard to groom. The team here went above and beyond. They had none of the issues that my Mother was told the other places had. The dog was happy and no longer afraid of the groomer.
After I spent a long time searching for a groomer that does hand stripping, I was recommended to reach out to Animal Haven. I immediately called to confirm about the hand stripping for my Welsh Terrier puppy. I was assigned a date (few weeks from my call). The day finally came on Feb 27 2024 and I could not be happier with the work that Michele did on my dog. Upon arriving, not only did she immediately recognize the breed but she also was knowledgeable of the breed standard and the style that my dog's stripping needed to be like to comply with that standard. Despite being only 8 months old and being on the grooming table only 2 times before, she handled him in such way that he was very comfortable and showing not a single sign of stress upon pickup. I am now scheduled to come back every few weeks to keep working on his coat. My experience here was outstanding and I wish I could rate more than five stars only.Hugo V.

I've called them many times, and every time I get a reply that they will give me an answer in the following week. I've been tired to follow up with them. I don't know how their school works, but the experience with this application is really bad.

Look at her! What a happy girl!! For the best grooming service we will drive for an hour to Port Coquitlam again! Stacey is amazing, gentle with dogs and very friendly and nice! Checked her nails, her ears, trimmed her coat really nice and after I asked what shampoo she used because it’s so pleasant she made a note to give me some to take home next time when we go there. She even gave me a towel to use it in the car, (to take home) because she noticed our girl was in heat and she was concerned about staining our car. Isn’t this thoughtful? ❤️❤️❤️ We love you Stacey! Excellent service by Michele, Darcy and all their staff.Brought in my daughters' dog who has anxiety, socially inept, and being part greyhound, has a very high prey drive.My daughter was very anxious about her beloved Luna, but she was long overdue for a nail trim. When we tried to trim her nails in the past, she got so upset, she cried and cried, and then peed so we had to stop (that's Luna, not my daughter lol).Michele and Darcy, being the ultimate professionals had no problem at all trimming her nails, and gave her a great salon and doggy spa experience.Knowing that my daughter was so apprehensive, they sent me pics every hour so I could show my daughter her precious baby was actually enjoying her spa treatment.I met a few of their customers, and they all agreed on what excellent service is provided by Michele, Darcy and their staff.Highly recommended for anyone with a fur baby!
We had our Lagotto groomed today by Gabriella and she did an excellent job. It’s so great to find such a knowledgeable groomer for this breed. Our dog seemed very happy with her grooming and we are very pleased with the service. We will be back!
Great Grooming school! Michele and Kat are very attentive and will teach you the best about the grooming world. The course is an amazing experience and it will give you information and practice to start your career, I am really happy there and I recommend the course 🤩🤩🤩
